WHOEVER SPENDS 25 YEARS ON THE SAME TOPIC IS EITHER MAD OR A PERFECTIONIST.
"WE ARE DRIVEN BY AN INVISIBLE IMPULSE: THE LOVE OF ULTRASOUND."Dipl.-Ing. Johannes Schulte Managing Director
25 years ago, ultrasonic sensors played only a minor role in industrial automation technology. The low level of its development made many reluctant to use it. After developing our first sensors, we had to do a lot of persuading. We brought people on-board faster than many had expected.
Today, we are an international market leader in the ultrasonic sensor sector. The best thing that could happen to us was to enthuse both our customers and staff.
We all have one thing in common: our love of ultrasound.
You can be sure: we will also excite you over the next 25 years.
"OUR CUSTOMER HAD A QUESTION. WE HAD AN IDEA. AND THEN A NEW TECHNOLOGY."Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Rotter R&D
I developed the first double-sheet control for a well-known manufacturer of printing machines over 15 years ago. It all began with a customer enquiry. In our answer we gave the start signal for a new technology which over time grew into a fully-fledged product group ranging from the double-sheet control to splice sensors and label sensors. Thanks for asking the right question!
"I LOVE THE SURPRISE OF OUR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY SEE HOW WELL IT WORKS."Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Schlienkamp R&D, project management
We are very close to our customers. This is especially clear in our customer-specific sensor developments. I manage these developments, maintain customer contact and ensure a number of positive surprises: from the initial customer enquiry over the first functional model and prototype, right up to series production.
"THE AVERAGE HUMAN HAS 100 BILLION BRAIN CELLS. THE SOFTWARE IN OUR SENSORS IS PERHAPS NOT AS ADVANCED, BUT WE ARE WORKING ON IT."Dipl.-Ing. Christian Dörge Software Engineering
No sensor without softwares with complex filter algorithms and evaluation strategies, simple operating concepts and since a number of years, an IO link. Our software is always improving in performance but also becoming more complex. This is only fitting for benchmark technology.
"TODAY, OUR CUSTOMERS REAP WHAT WE HAVE SEWN OVER THE COURSE OF 25 YEARS"Dipl.-Ing. Oliver Liedtke Development housing construction
I came from the electromechanics design sector. The first big challenge with which I was confronted was the mic+ ultrasonic sensors with a digital display. Since then, we have made a number of further sensors which I have made weather-proof.
"I BRING OUR ULTRASONIC SENSORS ON COURSE. AND THEN TO THEIR GOAL."Dipl.-Ing. Harry Pilz Quality development
Those who want to achieve their goals need to stay on track. That is my job. I subject development results to painstaking tests, working until everything is perfect. Travelling is sometimes difficult, which makes arrival all the more pleasing.
"NO-ONE TRIES TO DO WITHOUT ME BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY CAN'T."Dipl.-Ing. Damian Czyrny Test devices for production
I develop automatic testing systems for the individual sensor electronics and the finished sensors. Beginning with manual inspection systems, the sensors are subject to fully-automatic controls; all the results required for verification management are subject to reliable archiving. This ensures our high quality standards - sensors not up to scratch are not released!!
"IDEAS WHICH KEEP YOU ON TRACK. THAT IS WHAT WE ARE KNOWN FOR."Dipl.-Ing. Thorsten Paesler R&D
As with many of my colleagues, I came to microsonic directly after graduation. I still work with the topic of my graduate thesis and will probably be so for very many years to come. My first major challenge faced as a young engineer at microsonic was the development of the edge sensors bks+3 and bks+6. Which new development are we currently pursuing? We are about to announce a new customer-specific solution ...
WE ARE THE TEAM THAT LIVES AND LOVES ULTRASOUND; WE LOOK FORWARD TO A FURTHER 25 YEARS OF PASSION, INNOVATION, NEW IMPULSES AND THE BEST CUSTOMERS IN THE WORLD.
